We get in the way of ourselves most of the time – in fact people in general tend to jeopardise themselves continually! They have great plans and desires to start something, do something – they make plans yet nothing much like a rocket never getting off the ground. Time and energy has gone into thinking and planning.
Dr. Joe Dispenza’s eloquent description of the reasons WHY nothing happens is interesting and enlightening. His YouTube video and book titled “Breaking the habit of being yourself” mirrors Albert Einstein’s famous line “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result”
Most people wake up in the morning and do exactly the same things as they did yesterday – this is a habit. Not only do people do the same as they did yesterday they also think the same thoughts as they did yesterday and the day before and the day before that. It is said that 90% of the thoughts individuals think daily they thought yesterday and all the yesterdays before. Firing and wiring the same synapses.

Creating a new you – takes planning, consideration and time, it does help to have the conscious and unconscious mind aligned. This can only be achieved by accessing the subconscious mind which is the keeper of all one’s emotions and memories to find out the reasons as to WHY these patterns of behaviour are repeated. Once this is uncovered it clears the way to create a new path and direction.
Imagine this, changing your thought by being the Master of your mind, can and will change your life! – Sounds simple but the reality is that you need to understand what your saboteurs/unconscious mind thought processes are and re-frame them, to understand “how to” do this and to be vigilant of those thoughts that constantly pop up. Did you know that we are the only animals on the planet that can do this? That’s wonderful new, because It means that you can re-frame and re-wire new positive thoughts and create a new you, by changing your thought processes.
The first steps to creating a new you – is to accept yourself – recognize your patterns of thought, and be kind to yourself rather than beat yourself up for repeating the same behaviour. For years, I had relationships with men who behaved the same way – which was not beneficial to me, yet I continually was attracted to the same personality – it was not until I delved deeper to find out WHY I chose these men who really were not the best for a long term relationship. Going deeper through regression and meditation I understood that by having a relationship with these types of personalities meant that it would not be permanent. My unconscious mind was protecting me in a way by ensuring that I did not have a long-term relationship because my unconscious mind believed that men were violent either physically or mentally. This related back to my childhood and subsequent marriage. It’s always interesting to understand your subconscious behaviour and choice – it is the role of the subconscious mind to keep you safe – often however, it does the opposite.
